Details
We are now delighted to announce another stretch of the Trent at Girton, Nr. Dunham Bridge. SAA have secured the lease for this year and will continue with it if it proves popular with our members. This is now a long stretch which we now share with Newark and District Piscitorial Federation. This is a very productive stretch of water and our officials have test fished it with great results with Barbel and big Bream, etc.
Please note that this fishery is now shared with Newark and District Piscitorial Federation.
The landowner has kindly agreed to the club having access down river by going across his land through his first gate and on to the second gate. There you will see a sign for parking and NO VEHICLES past this point. Please adhere to this request or the club may lose this gesture from the landowner and then we will all have to walk that stretch. Thank you.
2nd gate
No vehicles past this point.
Will all members visiting Girton please note that there is shared access to this water with Newark Piscatorials. The gate has a chain with two locks fitted.
Please ensure that the locks are looped together to allow both clubs access. Please close all gates and tumble the lock when entering or leaving the fishery.
